Kara works as part of our central sales team in Birmingham, answering phone calls and replying to emails for event enquiries across our portfolio of 80+ venues. She is able to use her knowledge of the portfolio to put forward recommendations of which venues she thinks will be perfect for that specific event.
Kara began working at LVP as part of Compass Group's Kickstart programme, as a Conference & Events Apprentice. Due to her developed skills and knowledge, she was asked to stay on full-time as a conference and events executive.

Since 2021.
What's the best experience you've had at an LVP venue?
Drinking a glass of fizz in the Harmsworth Room at Churchill War Rooms with a talk from a Churchill historian
What's your favourite thing about working at LVP?
The sense of family within the team.
What's one tip that you'd recommend when looking for a unique event venue?
Looking for somewhere draped in history - whether that's sporting history, history of the country, etc - something that makes a great talking point for delegates at a networking event to break the ice with.

Anything with cheese!

Shrek 2.

What's one fact about you that we wouldn't know?
After working at Build-A-Bear Workshop for 5 years, I could stuff and stitch up a bear start to finish with my eyes closed!
