Lime Venue Portfolio will unveil what the future of meetings and events could look like at The Meetings Show later this month. Following over six months of research, focus groups and insight from over 60 sources, we will share a highly visual new look of the Meeting of the Future.
Our research has been undertaken in response to event professionals who want to know what’s coming next for meetings and events, not 20 years in the future but more realistically in the next 3-5 years.
The campaign, which has been a cross industry and collaborative initiative has drawn on insight from across the meetings and event organisations, and included focus groups at International Confex, insight sessions at the ABPCO Festival of Learning, and collaborations with the brand’s clients, customers, and venues. The results have been collated into a simple to navigate and highly interactive design experience that can walk viewers through the Meeting of the Future, from pre-event communication, to onsite changes, and post event measurement.
While the details of the findings will be shared at The Meetings Show, it is already clear that the key findings are around inclusivity and access, sustainability and food, and the need for events to recreate the office rather than escape it. These themes will lead to structural changes of the meeting experience which have been bought to life by Lime Venue Portfolio.
At the same time, we're keen to underline that the campaign will continue to evolve after The Meeting Show, with a further roundtable discussion, taking place on day one of the event, to discuss and debate the findings in more detail.
“We’re really excited about sharing what we’ve found out over the last six months and to get even more opinions and insight from our colleagues at The Meetings Show,” comments Jo Austin, Sales Director, Lime Venue Portfolio. “The outcomes so far have been so varied, from predictable areas like accessibility and sustainability, to other areas which are a little more out there! What has been amazing is how much valuable opinion is available and I’m really pleased we can keep passing on what we’re learning.”
As part of Lime Venue Portfolio’s continued support for sustainable event food, the brand is partnering with The Delegate Wranglers and ExCeL London for the Delegate Wranglers Meet Up, also taking place on day one of The Meetings Show. During the event, the brand will be showcasing a taste of the future of sustainable food, while giving guests the chance to learn more about the Meeting of the Future.
“As a brand we’re really proud of our relationships with our customers, which have evolved beyond just doing a great job, but trying to be of genuine service to them,” continues Jo. “The success of our Beyond Food Reports, and our insight into the Meeting of the Future means we are supporting our clients’ businesses by providing valuable intelligence that will help them plan. They’ve been massive contributors to this project, and I really hope they will be major beneficiaries.”
