The National Theatre has become the latest venue to join Lime Venue Portfolio, following on from the high-profile additions of Watford FC, Nottingham Forest FC, and Imperial War Museum London. The news takes the group to over 85 venues across the country and once again strengthens the brand’s offering in the London marketplace.
The news also coincides with a staggering increase in enquiries into the portfolio; the group reported that the first quarter of 2022 far outweighs pre-pandemic trading and that its ‘business on the books’ figure is one of the highest in its 13-year history. Lime Venue Portfolio put this in part down to the increased options the group offers event organisers. Jo Austin, Sales Director, Lime Venue Portfolio commented, “It’s our job to give event planners a one-stop-shop of exciting, interesting and high-performance venue brands, and every addition strengthens that offer.
“The National Theatre will become a real jewel in our crown, the event space is gorgeous, it has one of those memorable views over the Thames with the stunning Buffini Chao Deck, one of the best places for roof top events in the capital.”
KERB, who are in partnership with Lime Venue Portfolio, takes pride in being the sole caterer at the venue. They have been at the helm of the London Street food scene since launching in 2012, improving the quality of food served on the capital’s streets. They are now refreshing the corporate catering world by offering a huge range of catering options at the Buffini Chao Deck, from London’s best street food to seated dinner menus designed by their executive chef.
Eleni Mesala, Head of Events, KERB at the National Theatre, said: “We’re delighted to be working with the team at Lime Venue Portfolio, the team there have built brilliant relationships with the agency and corporate buyer community and can increase our reach both within, and outside, of the capital. We are the National Theatre and we’re looking forward to reaching planners across the UK, especially those who want to see, and remember, one of London’s great roof top views.”
As well as providing an additional sales and marketing function for the venue, Lime Venue Portfolio will also be working in partnership with KERB to bring to life the brand’s food proposition across the wider portfolio, giving event bookers even more choice.
