Newmarket Racecourse, part of The Jockey Club Venues Collection, has launched two new day delegates (DDR) packages in collaboration with Discover Newmarket, which champion the racecourses’ heritage and focus on employee wellbeing.
The racecourse, which benefits from more than 30 meetings and events spaces, has launched its two new exclusive DDR packages The Early Riser and The National Stud which incorporate unique experiences for delegates which are only available at Newmarket.
The Early Riser package gives delegates an exclusive opportunity to see 3,000 horses and their trainers doing their morning exercise and training at Newmarket’s famous facilities, The Gallops. The package also includes a private guided tour of The Gallops, which aren’t open to the public, where delegates will discover why the racecourse is regarded as the Home of Horseracing before heading to the Rowley Mile for a hearty breakfast.
The National Stud package gives delegates behind-the-scenes access to one of the most famous studs in the world. The post-conference afternoon guided tour will allow delegates to explore the stunning 500-acre stud farm and gain an insight into working life on the only commercial stud farm in the UK.

Richard Isom, Head of Conference and Events – East Region said: “Following the pandemic, there has been an increased focus on wellbeing and having the opportunity to explore green open spaces is a fantastic way for delegates and employees to reset and refresh for the rest of the day.
“The new DDR packages champion Newmarket’s fantastic racing history, our great facilities and also incorporate time within our stunning grounds, making it the perfect destination for hosting business events and incentives.”
